Adjudication

Daniel has particular expertise in relation to the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 1999, NSW and the similar acts in each jurisdiction in Australia. As well as providing advice and drafting submissions in respect of adjudications for parties,  Daniel has successfully acted for clients in a number of Supreme Court proceedings where an adjudicator’s determination was under threat. Recent cases include Lanmac (NSW-ACT) Pty Limited v Andrew Bruce Wallace & Ors , Agusta Industries v Niclad Constructions  and The Owners Strata Plan 56587 v  Consolidated Quality Products.

He has advised Federal, State and Local Government bodies including the Federal Airports Corporation, NSW Ministry of the Arts, NSW Food Authority, Port MacQuarie-Hastings Council.  He has acted and appeared for clients in State and Federal RoyalCommissions into the Building Industry.
